Congrats on starting this blog! I feel like my sis-in-law are unknowingly sabotaging me. They've been loaning me books in quantity since Mother's Day when I got my Kindle. Such nice rats they are!
I am almost done reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It is considered Young Adult reading but I disagree. A good book is simply a good book. The narrator is Death. It isn't a light-hearted romp, but I don't consider it depressing. While reading about Nazi Germany is normally very depressing, I think hope and maybe the old fashion word "spunk" is what is carrying me through this book so far. I trust the ending won't disappoint me.
